Cleaning Up with the Adopt-A-Street program in Langely Township

Adopt-a-Street programs can be found worldwide and in a few communities in the Lower Mainland including Delta, Richmond, and Surrey.

Since May 2000, community members have been cleaning up litter around the Township of Langley. Thanks to them, we have a cleaner and safer community. As well, the Township's Adopt-a-Street Program is well respected and recognized in the Lower Mainland! This is something we can all take pride in.

Participants:

• Select at least one kilometer of municipal roadway

• Conduct at least one litter clean-up a month
  

• commit for two years
  

• Receive Adopt-a-Street signs
